AMY DUNCAN - WAKE ‘Wake’ is now available to pre-order through the brilliant label Last Night From Glasgow. The record will be pressed on pink vinyl later this year, with the first 100 copies to be signed. 'Wake' is a collaboration with my friend and lyricist David Paton. It was produced in Glasgow with Mark Freegard way back in 2003 in the aftermath of the 1994 suicide of David's twin-brother Iain. It was my first recorded album as a solo-artist and now soon to be my ninth release. The album was recorded when my son Finn was 2, my first ever solo album after playing double bass in the band Swelling Meg which disbanded in 2000. It was mainly recorded on Thursdays as that was the day Finn would go to nursery for the full day. Luckily Calum Malcolm who mastered it still had the files so we are able to do this record justice at last! Your pre-orders are much appreciated and really important for the project to be a success.
