Recording week with Calum Malcolm

Just back from 2nd day of recording in North Berwick. Having such a wonderful time, and I think we have made great progress in 2 days: most of the guitar parts down, including some gorgeous atmospheric electric guitar, plus some vocals in the bag too. All in all, a highly fulfilling and enjoyable experience is being had, and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity, after so long at going it alone its amazing to work with such a great producer. Very grateful to Creative Scotland for the funding.
Tomorrow morning piano, followed by an afternoon of vocals. Joy!

Wondering what you’ve been up to. This is cool. I appreciate that you are sharing your process. I am in the middle of a songwriting contest. Hoping to win the grand prize to fund my next CD.
